Metaverse World
The National Museum of Korean Contemporary History and the Gwanghwamun Theme World on the Metaverse
The metaverse is a "real world in a virtual area" that embodies real-world activities in a virtual space.
At Metaverse World offered by the museum, see the Gwanghwamun area surrounding the museum, which looks like a theme world.
Visitors can solve a variety of quests with a virtual animal companion called My pet, while visiting Gwanghwmun Square, Sejong Center and where the statues of Admiral Yi Sun-Sin and King Sejong.
Kick boards are also available to scoot around the square.
In the two-story museum space, the main exhibits of the museum are on display, such as 'sibal(start)' car, the 'muunjanggu Taegeukgi', and the torch used for the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games.

How to join the Metaverse World
at the museum 
- ① Download the "ZEPETO" app from the App store (iPhone) or Play Store (Android) on your smartphone.
- ② Join ZEPETO and decorate your own avatar.
- ③ Go to the "World" tab (second from left) at the bottom of the app and search for the "The National Museum of Korean Contemporary History" on the magnifying glass icon in the upper right corner!
- ④ Press the "Play" button to enjoy the Metaverse World of the museum !
